Milestone College Continues Their Class Braking Government Order

Schools, colleges shut from Aug 14 for Ramadan  
         
Dhaka, Aug 12 (bdnews24.com) – The government has decided to shut all schools and colleges and educational institutions of similar levels from Aug 14, on account of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Subodh Dhali , senior information officer of the education ministry, told bdnews24.com about the decision on Thursday.

The ministry announced in a press release that all schools and colleges will be closed form Aug 14 to Sept 16, with madrasaes shut till Sept 19.

Classes and examinations will resume after the vacation according to the syllabus.

The decision comes in the backdrop of a request from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police chief AKM Shahidul Hoque on Sunday to shut all schools and colleges from the 10th day of Ramadan to cut traffic jam in the city.

But it is a matter of great sorrow that like previous years Milestone College, Uttara, Dhaka  is continuing their class & from 19 august they are going to hold the pre-test exam of class 12. Previous 2 years they had give fine for continuing class after government's order. In class 12 there are more than 3000 students in this college. A great traffic jam is occurring  for them. Side by side other classes is open in this college. They ordered the students to come at college wearing normal dress instead of college dress.

  3. Every year this college do this. This year students give exam in the month of Ramadan. It's too much injustice.
